This is the premium cordless phone.  There is a version higher called the W59R that is ruggedized and has a rubberized body to protected it from dropping, from dust and water.

The reason you'd want to buy this phone is because of its long battery life of up to 166 hours of standby.  It is also one of the few cordless phones that includes bluetooth so that you can pair it with the same bluetooth headset you use with your cordless phone.

This phone comes with advanced features such as a large and bright color display, and vibration alarm. It has a long range of up to 150ft indoor which can be extended with  RT30 extenders or the W80 multi-cell implementation.

This particular version of the W78h is the handset only and is designed to work with a pre-existing base such as the W70B, W80B or DD10k.  It is multi-cell compatible which means it can roam a very large campus such as a hospital, university or government building. With the W70B base, up to 10 cordless phones can share a single base.  There are bundles available that include the full working kit of both the W78h handset and W70B to deliver a full working solution.

Yealink DECT technology is based on CATiq2.0, which focuses on high quality Audio VoIP (wideband), as well as low bit - rate data applications. But we are not compatible with any third-party DECT devices (base station, handset, etc.).
