In homes and shops, there are 19" network switches, and other devices that should be securely mounted on the wall. The standard size of a 24 port switch and other devices is 19" wide by 1.75" tall. That size is considered 1U.
This bracket allows two 1U devices to be mounted flat on a wall and is recommended for switches and other devices.
