These access points provide network access to laptops, smart phones and other wifi devices. This a 5 pack that includes 5 access points. While the single unit packages includes a PoE injector for power, this 5 pack does not include PoE injector and requires a PoE switch to power this device
This device is designed to be mounted either inside or outside. As such, its appropriate to be used within barns as its protected from moisture and dust.
- Maximum Power Usage - 9W (per device)
When these devices are powered by a network switch, you must consider what the maximum power budget of the switch. Each device will have a maximum power outage and they need to be added to determine if the switch can provide enough power for all the devices. When you exceed the budget, an additional switch should be added and the devices balanced between the switches. Alternatively, switches can be purchased with higher power outputs.
