About the Yealink BT40 Bluetooth Adapter for the Yealink T46G, T48G,T29G Desk Phones
The Yealink BT40 Bluetooth USB dongle adds Bluetooth connectivity to your IP Phone with a wide variety of Bluetooth Headsets, allowing you to receive calls wherever you are in the office. Compatible with Bluetooth specification V4.0, back compatible with Bluetooth 1.1, 1.2, 2.0 and 3.0 for wide-ranging use.
There are limitations to using Bluetooth headsets with your desk phone including:
- Limited battery life on headset means you don't get a full day of use
- Limited range means your still teathered to your phone
- Limited comfort for small size and cost
